Call for Referees –
2025 North America Inter-Regional Championships

This tournament will use the Tri-Referee Schedule Rotation with 3 referees in the water for every game. We’re seeking referees for two categories:

Level 3 Dedicated Referee (6 positions)

• Expectations: Referee up to 10 games/day; help train newer referees.
• Requirements: Registered active or inactive Level 3 referee certification.
• Benefits:
  • Full flight cost covered up to maximum reimbursement value you provide.
  • Housing from Thursday night to Monday morning.
  • Per-game stipend for incidental costs.

Level 3 Candidate Referee (5 positions)

• Expectations: Referee up to 10 games/day; receive coaching. You must cover your own travel costs.
• Requirements: Must be an experienced Level 2 referee eligible for L3 candidacy.
• Benefits:
  • Housing from Thursday night to Monday morning.
  • Per-game stipend for incidental costs.
  • Direct coaching from experienced Level 3 Referee Coaches.
  • Successful evaluation can result in Level 3 certification.

Key Notes

• Plan to arrive by Thursday night (October 16) and stay through Monday morning (October 20).
• Games will be fast-paced with Open and Women’s divisions, offering a near-elite competitive environment.
• Parra Ospina (COL), CMAS Level 3 Trainer, and one other Certified Assessor will lead the Level 3 training.
• We plan to conduct the Level 3 Referee Fitness Test.
